James T. Olsen

James T. Olsen is a dedicated criminal defense attorney known for his strong courtroom presence and proven record of effective oral advocacy.

James served as a Senior Certified Law Clerk with the Douglas County Attorney’s Office from May 2023 to April 2026. In this role, he conducted extensive legal research and authored multiple successful appellate briefs. He has significant courtroom experience, appearing in numerous juvenile court proceedings, including detention hearings and arraignments, participating in trials, and assisted in Douglas County District Court matters, including set-aside hearings, plea hearings, and motions to suppress.

He is a 2025 graduate of Creighton University School of Law, where he was named the 2023 Moot Court Champion, demonstrating exceptional advocacy and legal writing skills.

James also interned for Congressman Adrian Smith in Washington, D.C., gaining valuable insight into the legislative process and federal law.
