With a legal career spanning 13 years, Kyle Melia is a seasoned advocate committed to delivering unwavering legal representation and ensuring justice for every client. After Tom and Kyle worked together on several criminal cases, Tom asked Kyle to office share with him, where he is referred cases and works on criminal case with Mr. Olsen.

Having earned a degree from Creighton Law School in 2010, Kyle has consistently demonstrated a passion for the law and a dedication to upholding the rights of individuals. While in law school, he clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office. Upon earning his degree in 2010, Mr. Melia embarked on a career in defense, where he tirelessly advocated for the rights of his clients facing legal challenges. Eventually in 2013, he was appointed as the head defender for Madison County.

This experience provided invaluable insights into legal processes and enhanced his understanding of the intricacies of the law at the highest levels. Notably, he spent a significant portion of their career working for Douglas County, where he defended thousands of clients facing an array of serious criminal charges. This included cases involving 1st-degree murder, robberies, assaults, weapons charges, felony DUI offenses, sexual offenses, and possession and distribution of controlled substances. Kyle Melia is no stranger to the complexities of the legal system, having navigated the intricacies of high-stakes criminal defense with poise and expertise.
