Attorney Kaz Long office shares and is referred clients and jointly works on criminal cases with Mr. Olsen. After observing first hand Mr. Long’s passion and skill representing criminal clients at the Platte County Courthouse, Mr. Olsen knew that Kaz would make a great addition to the office.

Mr. Long received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in 2008 and was a scholarship student at Creighton University School of Law, graduating near the top of his law school class in 2011.

For the past ten years, Mr. Long has practiced criminal law in the states of Nebraska and Iowa, in both State and Federal courts. Kaz has successfully represented clients charged with serious felony offenses, including possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, murder and manslaughter offenses, 1st degree sexual assault, kidnapping, domestic violence, weapon and firearm offenses, and felony/misdemeanor DUI offenses.

Mr. Long is a tenacious criminal defense attorney who has secured not guilty verdicts at trial and outright dismissal of all charges filed against his clients.

Mr. Long was recognized in 2021 by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys with the nationally ranked top 10 under 40 award.
